  • Design and synthesis of highly active, chemoselective and easy to handle metathesis ruthenium pre-catalysts for application in production of target-directed antioxidants.
  • Grafting of efficacious new ligands (NHCs, , arene-substituted NHCs, Schiff bases, phosphines, arenes) on established ruthenium-alkylidene catalysts currently employed on a large scale in metathesis-based organic synthesis (CM, RCM, ROMP).
  • New kinetic and mechanistic investigations of catalytic processes promoted by ruthenium-based precursors as applied in the manufacture of antioxidants.
